New Amazfit smartwatch with AMOLED screen can run for up to 3 weeks

The Xiaomi-owned Huami brand introduced a new smartwatch called the Amazfit GTR. The novelty is available in two sizes (42 mm and 47 mm) and is made in a stainless steel case, aluminum or titanium. In addition, the watch can be decorated with Swarovski crystals. However, despite this, the retail value of the novelty does not exceed 200 dollars.

Depending on the model, the watch can be equipped with a 1.2 or 1.39-inch round AMOLED display. The rest of the filling of the watch is almost no different. They have a six-axis accelerometer, a three-axis geomagnetic sensor, a pressure sensor and a BioTracker PPG biooptic sensor that tracks a user’s heart rate. The watch is also equipped with GPS and GLONASS modules.

Amazfit GTR are able to track the number of steps taken, count calories burned, and recognize different types of physical activity, from swimming to skiing.

In addition to the diagonal screens, the Amazfit GTR also has different batteries. The 42 mm version has a 195 mAh battery that provides up to 12 days of battery life with typical use and up to 34 days of operation using the basic watch mode. The 47-millimeter version is powered by a 410 mAh battery. Due to the greater capacity, the autonomy of the watch increases markedly: up to 24 days of battery life in standard mode and up to 74 days in the basic mode of the watch.

The Amazfit GTR smartwatch is compatible with almost all modern smartphones running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 operating systems and newer. As for prices, in China, a 42-millimeter version of the watch can be ordered for 116 dollars, and 47 mm – for 145 dollars. Models in a unique design with Swarovski crystals or in a case of titanium are more expensive, but in both cases the price does not exceed 205 dollars.
