Find My app reveals a nasty bug

The other day, one of the users of the popular networking site Reddit discovered in the new application Find My unpleasant bug. The latter allows you to track not only your own devices on the map, but also other people’s devices.

Recall that in iOS 13 Coopertinoov presented a completely new application called Find My. Its key feature is that the utility allows you to find a lost device even if it is not connected to the network or completely village. This was made possible by Bluetooth Low Energy technology, through which lost devices connect to the iPhone of passing users, sending them a distress signal.

The Coopertinos assured that thanks to an advanced protection system only their owners will be able to track the lost iPhones. However, this was not quite the case. According to one Reddit user, if you use the Find My app, other people’s devices may appear on the screen from time to time. Thus, the user has noticed several times different iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch.

The devices were displayed in the app for about 30 seconds and then disappeared. However, this time was enough to pave the route to any of the gadgets or remove all data from the device. These features were active.

At this point, Apple representatives have already contacted enoughowl10 to find out all the details. It is possible that in the near future the Coopertinos will correct an unpleasant flaw.
