Apple reworked Apple Music’s recommendations in iOS 12.3

Yesterday, the final version of iOS 12.3 was available to users. The update did not bring with it any global changes. However, it contained a number of useful innovations. And about some of them Apple did not directly report. For example, the Coopertinos have made a number of changes to the recommendation mechanism in Apple Music.

In the update description, Apple reported on some edhisps related to Apple Music. In particular, it was known that the frequency of music updates in the “For You” tab had changed. In addition, the Coopertinos changed the layout of individual elements of the interface. However, no major innovation was reported.

According to the available data, now when forming recommendations, the service algorithms will primarily start from specific playlists, advising on their basis individual tracks. It is assumed that this model of selections should become more effective.

Active users of Apple Music have already appreciated the innovation and many noted that the new mechanism really copes better with their responsibilities.
