Protests against Apple are gaining momentum in China

In recent days, a mass protest against Apple products has been gaining momentum in China. The relevant calls are increasingly being heard on the social network Weibo. The reason for the boycott of apple products was the incessant trade war between China and the United States.

Last week, U. S. authorities banned Huawei from purchasing “vital U. S. technology” without special permission, and Huawei’s equipment itself was banned.

Chinese users on the social network Weibo are calling for the iPhone to be abandoned and to support the national manufacturer, noting that Huawei smartphones have long been as good as Apple devices. Judging by the reviews, many consumers are really ready to change their iPhone to a smartphone from the Chinese giant.

It is worth noting that the calls to announce a boycott of Apple sound in China not for the first time. For example, late last year, some Chinese companies began to encourage their employees to buy Huawei smartphones and punish if they preferred the iPhone.
