Apple plans to thoroughly rework Springboard in iOS 13

Renowned developer Guilherme Rambo continues to share new information about the as-yet unannounced global update of Apple’s mobile operating system. According to the latest data, iOS 13 Coopertinos plan to significantly refine Springboard.

Rambo notes that Apple has taken on a thorough reworking of Springboard for the first time in many years. According to the developer, the Coopertinos will divide the module, which is responsible for the main screen of the operating system, into several smaller processes. Thus, the company plans to significantly increase the speed of work not only Springboard, but the whole system as a whole.

Guilherme Rambo is not exactly sure how much iOS speed will increase. However, he believes that the Coopertinos will divide Springboard into no less than 14 separate processes, each of which will handle their tasks.

Recall that the official announcement of the new Apple mobile operating system is to take place within the framework of WWDC 2019. This year’s developer conference will be held June 3-7 in San Diego.
