Today, Huami introduced two new smartwatch models under the Amazfit brand. New products can not be called very cheap. However, they offer quite a few options, including an ECG scanner.
Amazfit Verge 2 – have become one of the most advanced models in the manufacturer’s lineup. The watch features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454×454 pixels, a snapdragon Wear 2500 processor and an optional Huangshan MHS001 chip from Huami. The latter is designed specifically to analyze information about the user’s health.
Amazfit Verge 2 is able to track up to 10 different types of activity and shoot an electrocardiogram of the user. In addition, the watch provides an electronic SIM card with support for fourth-generation networks. Verge 2 is responsible for a small 420 mAh battery. The full charge with constant connection to 4G networks is enough for 26-28 hours.
As for the cost, the watch costs about 145 dollars in China. For the model with ECG users will have to pay another 45 dollars.
Amazfit Health Watch is a more affordable device aimed at a wider audience that cares about their health. The watch is built on the Huangshan No. 1 processor and features a 1.28-inch screen with a resolution of 176×176 points.
Like the older Health Watch, you can shoot an electrocardiogram of the user. According to the manufacturer, the scanner clock with accuracy of more than 97% detects atrial fibrillation. This conclusion was made as part of a study conducted in collaboration with doctors of the Department of Cardiology of the first hospital of Peking University.
Amazfit Health Watch is due to be available next month. However, so far we are talking only about China. Data on global sales of the novelty is not yet available.
