The first major announcement at today’s WWDC 2019 was a new version of tvOS. As part of the presentation, the Coopertinos told in sufficient detail about the major innovations, which will soon be available to the owners of apple SET-top boxes.
One of the interesting features of tvOS 13 will be a mechanism that will offer different users its unique recommendations. Especially convenient such an option will be in the family use of the console: adults the system will recommend action movies, adventures or melodrama (depending on their taste), and children – children’s programs and cartoons.
However, the biggest innovation of tvOS 13 can be considered support for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers. At the moment, the set-top box already allows you to use third-party Bluetooth controllers. However, thanks to the new option, users no longer need to purchase separate gamepads for Apple TV. Apple is expected to befriend its Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers ahead of the imminent launch of its Apple Arcade service, which will feature more than 100 projects, including exclusive ones.
Some of the improvements associated with Apple Music can be attributed to smaller but no less interesting innovations. In particular, tvOS will be able to display the lyrics in sync with the music.
