IOS 13 found a hint of USB-C in iPhone 11

Now network sources are debating whether Apple plans to equip its new smartphones with a USB-C connector. Many believe that this year the Coopertinos will keep Lightning. However, judging by the latest find in the iOS 13 Beta 1 code, USB-C can still appear in iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max and iPhone XR 2019.

The other day, users noticed that in iOS 13 Coopertinoov reworked the recovery screen. The iTunes logo disappeared from it – it was replaced by a laptop icon. At the same time, the image of the cable has changed. Whereas Lightning cable used to appear on the screen, iOS 13 was replaced by a schematic image of a cable with a USB-C connector.

In fact, the new recovery screen is the only hint of Apple’s imminent abandonment of the Lightning port. However, it is worth bearing in mind that so far only the first test build of the new Apple mobile operating system is available to developers. It is possible that the new recovery screen appears on the iPhone by mistake, and in iOS 13 Beta 2, the Coopertinos will return the Lightning cable image again.

It is expected that the official announcement of the new generation of apple smartphones is scheduled for September this year.
