Apple’s technical support works better than its competitors

Some time ago, the authors of Laptop Mag conducted a small study. Their main goal was to assess the quality of technical support services for large IT companies. In total, the authors of Laptop Mag talked to more than 10 support services and compiled their rating.

For the purity of the experiment, journalists behaved like regular users, asking different questions. In the case of Apple tech support, laptop Mag authors were interested in details about Dark Mode, the disconnection of automatic updates, and the ability to disable the webcam. As a result, the apple company’s support service showed the best result. The authors of Laptop Mag gave her 91 points out of 100.

According to journalists, Apple employees answered questions quickly and clearly. At the same time, the instructions were quite detailed and not formulaic. This is especially evident in the case of the webcam question. The technical support officer described the whole process in detail and offered several options.

As for other large companies, the authors of Laptop Mag also noted the support service Razer. They gave her 88 points out of 100. Dell’s support was also quite high. However, judging by the reviews, not all users agree with this assessment.
