Apple launches mass-produced iPad with 10.2-inch screen

EDN, citing knowledgeable sources, reported that mass production of low-cost iPads is due to start soon. According to the available data, the novelty will be equipped with a screen with a diagonal of 10.2 inches, its announcement will take place this fall.

Sources say that despite the increase in the screen diagonal to 10.2 inches, the new apple tablet in its dimensions will be comparable to 9.7-inch versions. This will be made possible by the thinner frames around the screen.

Information about the technical characteristics of the novelty is not yet available. However, sources note that the 10.2-inch iPad should replace the inexpensive iPad 6 and allow users to use almost all the benefits of iPadOS for relatively little money.

In addition to information about the new apple tablet, sources also shared some data on the 16-inch version of the MacBook Pro. It was originally intended that this laptop would be introduced this fall. However, now sources note that its mass production will start only towards the end of the year.

It is worth noting that the postponement of the announcement of the 16-inch MacBook Pro earlier was reported by authoritative analyst Ming Chi-Kuo. According to his forecasts, Apple will introduce a new “slack” not earlier than next year.
