Apple may opt out of iPhone with 64GB of built-in memory

At the moment, the network already has quite a lot of information regarding the next Apple smartphones. Earlier sources told about the cameras of the new iPhone, some technical characteristics and appearance. However, insiders still have a story to tell. For example, today it became known about Apple’s plans to abandon the release of the iPhone with 64GB of memory. They should be replaced by devices with a large drive.

According to Indian insider Sudhanshu Ambhore, this year the Coopertinos can stop producing smartphones with 64GB of built-in memory. In the iPhone 2019 model year, the minimum storage capacity should grow to 128GB. It is possible that with this will increase the cost of the basic version of the iPhone.

In addition to new data on the built-in drive, Ambhore also shared images of cases for the successor to the iPhone XS Max. Cases for the as-yet unannounced smartphone once again confirm rumors about the square area, which will house three lenses of the main camera.

The official announcement of new apple smartphones is to take place this fall as part of a special event. Most likely, the presentation of the new generation of iPhone will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater.
