Apple has not fulfilled the contract with Samsung and now owes more than 100 million dollars

Despite persistent rumors about Apple’s desire to distance itself from large companies like Samsung, the Coopertinos continue to cooperate with the Korean giant. It is the main supplier of OLED screens for apple smartphones. However, today it became known that due to the decrease in demand for the iPhone, the Coopertinos did not fulfill their contractual obligations.

According to some reports, Apple now owes Samsung more than 100 million dollars. At the same time, the Coopertinos do not really want to pay a competitor such a sum. For this reason, Apple offers Samsung alternative compensation methods.

According to sources, one of the options that Apple offers is a large order for OLED screens with a larger diagonal. In fact, the Coopertinos want to order displays for tablets and laptops.

It is worth noting that in the past, analysts have reported Apple’s desire to equip iPad and MacBook with OLED screens. According to rumors, the tablet with the new display may come out next year, and the Apple laptop with a 16-inch OLED screen – until 2021.
