Last year, Apple added several new apps to its desktop operating system. Among them were: House, Recorder, Promotions and News. However, not all users liked the new programs. Most of the claims were to the appearance of the program, or rather to the fact that they did not fit into the design of macOS.
Some time ago, Apple’s vice president of software development Craig Federighi in an interview with CNET told about plans to update not too successful applications. According to available data, new versions of House, Recorder, Promotions and News may appear already in the public beta macOS Catalina.
Exactly how the apps will change is not yet known. In the frames of the interview, Craig Federighi noted only that the company is aware of some shortcomings and now they have all the necessary tools to make the programs even better and more convenient.
Recall that The House, Dictaphone, Promotions and News were the first apps to be transferred from the iPad with Project Catalyst. This year, the Coopertinos have slightly refined this technology, so that macOS should have more diverse programs.
