Today it became known that Apple received another lawsuit related to intellectual property violations. According to representatives of Parus Holdings, the iPhone manufacturer illegally uses developments related to the virtual assistant Siri.
In a statement of claim, Lawyers for Parus Holdings said their patents violate virtually all apple devices. The list includes different models of iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, Apple TV, iMac, MacBook, HomePod and even CarPlay system.
Representatives of Parus Holdings claim that all these apple devices infringe a patent with the number 7076431 issued by the U. S. Patent Office. It describes a system for extracting information from pre-selected websites using voice commands. According to the plaintiff, Apple devices with Siri are just such a system.
It is worth noting that this is not the first such lawsuit. Last year, Portal Communications sued Apple for about the same reason and also reported that its patents violate almost all Apple devices.
