Beta versions of Apple operating systems often become sources of new information, and macOS 10.15 is no exception. The other day, Steve Moser discovered in the code macOS Catalina the mention of eight previously unknown Radeon graphics cards. All of them belong to the Vega 20 family.
There is no specific information about the new graphics cards in the macOS code. However, many of them are labeled as prototypes. This may mean that most of the maps are still in development.
It can be assumed that while unannounced graphics cards from the Vega 20 family will be used in top-end modifications of apple computers. Most likely, the Pro console models are designed for the Mac Pro, and the RX-labeled cards will be used in the next-generation MacBook Pro.
Recall that not so long ago Apple registered seven new MacBooks in the Eurasian Economic Commission. It is possible that some of the new products will be equipped with as yet unknown graphics adapters from AMD.
