As part of last week’s WWDC 2019, Apple unveiled a fully updated Mac Pro. The computer is radically different from the previous generation and even in the basic modification has a sufficient margin of performance. Apple manager Doug Brax recently spoke about how the new Mac Pro was created.
In an interview with Mac Power, Brax noted that work on the new apple computer began a long time ago. Especially to develop professional solutions, the Coopertinos have created a separate team called Pro Workflows. Its members are responsible for creating and developing specialized products that target a professional audience. And it’s been more than just mac Pro, MacBook Pro or iPad Pro.
As for the Mac Pro 2019, the experts were tasked with creating the most powerful workstation that will be able to solve the challenges of the future. A striking example is working with 8K video. At this stage, this format is not very popular. However, Apple believes that in the near future it will become a professional standard.
A lot of attention was paid to the unusual design of the Mac Pro during the interview. Brax noted that the Mac Pro is a unique product in several senses. This also applies to the appearance of the computer. Designers and engineers worked in the same bundle when creating Mac Pro. It was thanks to this that an innovative system was built.
Not least, the design of the computer is related to Apple’s desire to create the quietest professional computer. According to the Coopertinos, the noise of the Mac Pro cooling system is only 10 decibels – less than the previous-generation iMac Pro and Mac Pro. At the same time, the cooling system works very efficiently – the air moves throughout the body and provides an effective heat sink.
