There is less than a month left before the official announcement of the new Apple mobile operating system, and now the network is actively appearing information regarding the next major iOS update. For example, today sources of the French edition of iPhonesoft reported that six relatively old Apple devices will not support iOS 13.
According to the available data, the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPad mini 2 and iPad Air will not receive the update to the new Apple mobile operating system. On the one hand, such a decision is not surprising. Almost all of the devices on this list came out long ago. The only exception is the iPhone SE, which was introduced in 2016. However, there is an assumption that the Coopertinos decided not to update this device not so much because of its “old age” as in order not to adapt the new version of iOS to small screens.
It is worth noting that even in winter network sources reported that not all apple mobile devices will be updated to iOS 13. Then the Israeli resource The Verifier reported that the update will not receive more than ten Apple smartphones and tablets, including both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6, and the iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2.
The exact list of devices that will be updated to iOS 13 will be announced as early as June 3, the opening day of the annual WWDC 2019 developer conference.
