Top-of-the-go mac Pro can cost around $45,000

As part of WWDC 2019, Apple unveiled a fully updated Mac Pro. At the moment, only the cost of the basic version of the computer is known. However, The Verge has calculated how much the top version of the novelty can cost – by the most modest calculations the price tag will be about 45,000 dollars.

The most advanced version of the Mac Pro should be powered by a 28-core Intel Xeon W (2.5/4.4 GHz) processor, a 1.5TB RAM array, a pair of 4TB solid state drives and two AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics modules.

Knowing the approximate components, the authors of The Verge calculated the cost of the top version of the Mac Pro:

As a result, these components alone are already worth about $40,000. The final cost of the computer also needs to include the system unit itself, motherboard, cooling system, power supply, Afterburner ProRes card, etc.

Thus, we can say that the top version of the Mac Pro will cost at least 45,000 dollars. If you add to this figure and Apple’s branded monitor with an additional stand, the cost of buying a Mac Pro workstation exceeds $50,000.
