Almost simultaneously with the release of the new MacBook Pro, Apple announced the launch of a new program for free service of old “pros.” The Cuppertins acknowledged that some MacBook Pro samples of 2016 may have a backlight defect. Devices with a similar problem can now be repaired or replaced for free.
Recall that some time ago on the network began to appear complaints about the incorrect work of backlighting in some models of MacBook Pro. Most often, it was encountered by the owners of 13-inch laptops. At the same time, the “symptoms” were almost always the same: at the beginning on the screen there were areas with uneven illumination, and then the illumination stopped working completely.
As experts have found out, the problem is related to the plume of the screen, which Apple engineers for some reason made too short. Over time, the train is rubbed, and the screen stops working normally.
