IFixit has dismantled the updated MacBook Pro, which Apple unveiled earlier this week. First of all, they paid attention to the keyboard of the laptop, or rather whether it was better to resist various loads and dust.
Recall that soon after the announcement of the new “pros” it became known that Apple engineers slightly modified the mechanism “Butterfly”, changing some materials. The Cupertinos claimed that this would help solve the problem of sticking keys.
According to iFixit experts, Apple has replaced silicone film, which should protect the keys from debris. Now it is made of nylon. How effective will be such innovation is not yet very clear – it should take some time.
In addition, the Coopertinos changed the button switches. iFxit experts suggest that Apple used a slightly different process and other metal alloy when creating these modules. More accurate findings require tests on special equipment that iFixit does not have.
As a result, experts still find it difficult to say for sure how much better the updated keyboard has become. Exactly this question can be answered only after a while.
