Recently, a number of network sources reported that Apple may soon release the third generation of AirPods. It is assumed that the key feature of the novelty will be the noise cancellation system. At the same time, sources also note that the updated Apple wireless headphones will cost more than AirPods 2.
The difference in price is not yet known. However, according to sources of the Taiwanese resource DigiTimes, Coopertinos can release two different modifications of AirPods 3. One of them will receive minimal changes, and the second – will be very different from existing models.
It is expected that advanced apple wireless headphones will be built using System-in-Package (SiP) technology. The latter will improve the performance of the circuits, as well as help reduce the size of the boards. It is the smaller size of some components and will equip one of the versions of AirPods 3 with an active noise cancellation system.
Sources say that a large number of changes and innovations will have an impact on the final cost of the product. As a result, the advanced version of the AirPods 3 may be the most expensive in the line of compact apple headphones.
