IPhone 11 can get advanced selfie camera, new Taptic Engine and advanced shooting mode

9to5mac shared new information about the iPhone 11. In particular, the sources of the site told about previously unknown details. For example, what a third lens in the main camera is for and how the front camera module will improve.

According to sources, the iPhone 11 will add a new mode of shooting called Smart Frame, which will capture the area around the focus point in photos and videos. This will allow users to adjust framing or perform an automatic perspective correction.

The front-facing camera should get a new module. This has been known before. However, 9to5mac sources note that in the iPhone 11, the front-facing camera will support video recording at a rate of up to 120 frames per second. It is not yet clear whether the successor to the iPhone XR will receive such an option, but in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max it will definitely appear.

In addition, all new apple smartphones should get an updated Taptic Engine codenamed Leap Haptics. The sources do not say how it will differ from the existing solution. However, it is believed that the iPhone will now focus on the Haptic Touch feature, which will replace 3D Touch.

Recall that according to the latest rumors, the official announcement of new apple smartphones will take place on September 10.
